Work That's Your Own.
You walk into a store, and you know exactly what needs to happen. The shelf is a mess, the display is off, the signage is wrong. You fix it. You document it. You leave it better than you found it. That's the job, and it matters more than most people realize.
At Channel Partners, your work is clear from day one. You know which stores you're covering, what the brand expects, and how to report it all before you leave. Every visit gets logged in real time through a mobile app — photos, completion status, notes — so the brands you represent always have an accurate picture of what's on the floor.
No surprises on the floor.
Clear stores, clear expectations, and everything logged before you leave. From day one you'll be:
Executing planogram resets
Stocking shelves & inventory
Setting up displays & endcaps
Correcting price tags & signage
Photographing & reporting your work
Flagging issues for follow-up
Compensation that respects the work. Schedule that fits your life.
Up to $30/hr In Select Markets
Pay is based on your experience and the program you're placed in, and it's issued every week. Not every two weeks, not once a month. Every week. And if something comes up and you need access to your earnings before payday, early wage access is available through Rain.
Part-time or full-time. Your call.
Whether you need something that fits around your life or you're ready to go all in, there's room for both here. Part-time gives you consistent scheduled hours without the full-time commitment. Full-time means more hours, more stability, and a clearer path toward Lead and management.
Mileage covered. Training paid.
Drive time between store locations is covered with mileage reimbursement. That's not a bonus or a maybe, it's part of the job. And before your first store visit, you'll go through paid, self-paced training on our Ascend learning platform. The resources stay available long after onboarding ends.
If you've heard it all before, here's what's actually different.
One interview. An answer in about a week.
Hiring in this industry typically drags on for 30 to 45 days. Ours takes about a week. For most merchandising roles, there's one conversation. You apply, we talk, you get a real answer. No multi-round process, no callback that leads to another callback.
You're an employee. Not a contractor.
Every Channel Partners field rep is a W-2 employee. It means you're trained before you're deployed. It means you have a District Manager who knows your name and is accountable to your program. It means you have access to benefits and a path forward that gig platforms simply don't offer.
Local work. A company behind you.
Your assignments are built around where you live. You're working in stores near you, on a consistent schedule, in programs that run week to week. Not traveling to other markets, not hunting for the next gig. Steady, local work backed by a company with a national footprint.
Merchandising is only where you start.
The people running Lead, District Manager, and program management roles at Channel Partners started exactly where you'd be starting. There's a path here and it's well-traveled. More on that below.
Your first store visit doesn't have to be your last step.
Starting as a Merchandiser is exactly that, a start. From the field, people move into Lead roles, where you're not just executing store visits but owning a territory and guiding the merchandisers working within it. From there, the path keeps going. District Manager, program management, operations, training, corporate leadership.
It doesn't always follow the same arc, and that's the point. Some people step into a Lead role within their first year. Others move laterally into operations, training, or support roles and discover a fit they didn't expect. What stays consistent is that Channel Partners fills those roles from within, and the people running programs today started exactly where you'd be starting.
"I started as a Field Service Representative, working directly with retail locations. A year later, I brought that frontline experience to the corporate Support Team. The development opportunities here opened doors I didn't expect. Today, I'm proud to lead the Support Center."
— Matt Britton, Director of Support Center and Travel Team

Straight answers to your most asked questions.
-
What does a retail merchandiser do on a typical day?A retail merchandiser visits assigned store locations to make sure products are correctly positioned, fully stocked, and set to the brand's planogram. A typical day includes executing shelf resets, stocking inventory, building and maintaining displays and endcaps, verifying pricing and signage, and documenting the work before leaving. At Channel Partners, every visit is logged in real time through a mobile app, so the brands you represent always have an accurate picture of the store.
-
How much do retail merchandisers get paid?Retail merchandisers at Channel Partners earn up to $30 an hour in select markets, based on experience and the program you're placed in. Pay is issued weekly, not every two weeks, and early wage access is available through Rain if you need your earnings before payday. Mileage between store locations is reimbursed, and all training time is paid.
-
Are retail merchandising jobs W-2 or 1099 contractor positions?Every Channel Partners field merchandiser is a W-2 employee, not a 1099 contractor. That means you're trained before you're deployed, you have a District Manager accountable to your program, and you have access to benefits and a real path forward. You're on the team and covered, not filing a 1099 and hoping an app has work for you next week.
-
Are there part-time and full-time merchandising jobs available?Channel Partners offers both part-time and full-time merchandising positions nationwide. Part-time gives you consistent scheduled hours without the full-time commitment. Full-time means more hours, more stability, and a clearer path toward Lead and management. Your availability and goals determine which is the right fit, and you can move between them as your situation changes.
-
Do I need experience to get a retail merchandising job?Retail floor experience helps, especially stocking, resets, or planogram work, but it isn't always required. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently, Channel Partners wants to hear from you. All training happens before deployment through the Ascend learning platform, so you won't be expected to know the specific programs before you start. Training is paid and self-paced.
-
How long does the hiring process take? Most candidates go from application to offer in about two weeks, significantly faster than the 30 to 45 days typical in this industry. For most merchandising roles there is one interview, not a multi-round process. At Channel Partners, if your experience and location are a match, you'll hear back within a few business days of applying, and you'll get a real answer rather than radio silence.
-
Where can I find retail merchandiser jobs near me?Channel Partners hires retail merchandisers across the United States, in major metro markets and smaller markets alike. Programs run wherever clients have retail store networks, which covers most of the country. Assignments are built around where you live, so you work in stores near home rather than traveling to other markets. You can search open roles by location on the jobs board.
-
What's the difference between a retail merchandiser and a merchandising lead?A Merchandiser handles assigned store visits: resets, stocking, displays, and reporting. A Lead does all of that and also oversees other merchandisers in a program, serves as the first point of contact when issues come up, and works directly with the District Manager to keep the program on track. At Channel Partners, Lead is one of the most common next steps for merchandisers, and the role is typically filled from within.
-
Can a retail merchandising job become a full-time career? It can, and for many people at Channel Partners it has. The path from Merchandiser to Lead to District Manager is well-traveled, and the company promotes from within. Many of the people running programs today started in the field. If you want more responsibility and more hours over time, that path is real and available, and it extends into operations, training, and program management.
-
Do retail merchandisers get mileage reimbursement and paid training?Yes. Drive time between store locations is reimbursed through mileage, and it's a standard part of the job, not a bonus. At Channel Partners, before your first store visit you complete paid, self-paced training on the Ascend learning platform covering product knowledge, the reporting tools, and professional development. Those resources stay available after onboarding ends, so you can keep building skills on the job.
-
What should a retail merchandiser wear to work? The baseline is business casual: a button-down or polo shirt, dark pants or jeans, and closed-toe shoes. Some programs require a specific uniform, typically a black shirt and pants. At Channel Partners, the exact requirements for your assignment are covered in your role details before your first day.
